Deep Thought
As I was mowning the lawn, and then again after I was giving Dane a ride on the "tractor" (incidently, he can't drive very well), I had a deep thought:
Dane wants to be just like me, but more than anything in the world, I want him to be himself... and nothing like me.

Dane will turn out to be a wonderful little boy!! I think all kids go through a stage where they just want to be like there parents, we are going through that right now too. Just want until he wants to be like Renee and wear makeup!!
She's right. Jared went through a phase wherein he wanted to dress like a girl. I just let it happen because I felt it would pass quicker if I didn't make a big deal out of it (and it DID pass quickly). But yeah, he went through a phase wherein he wanted to be like mommy! Woof. Still, in the end they DO seem to become their own people. I have watched my nieces and nephews grow up (my siblings are significantly older than me), and not a one is like their parents. So, don't worry about it :)
