Thank You To Our Veterans
I think we should all be thankful for the soldiers of our country, past and present. They have served and continue to serve as the defenders of our freedoms. Regardless of your opinion regarding any war, it takes a very special human being to serve in our armed forces during combat.

I AM thankful for the soldiers who enlist knowing full well that depending on the political climate, they might have to die in the name of the USA. I will always cheer returning soldiers and give thanks for their courage despite my opinions on the wars in which they fought.
In fact, it is DUE TO having such great respect for their sacrifice that I feel we should not engage in any unnecessary warfare. I believe that it belittles and takes for granted their precious lives. That being said, if a solider dies in WWII or the Iraqi War, either way, he or she has my equal respect and my thanks for being willing to serve our country to such an extreme.
