Glad you got a nice pre-Dane vacation in. BTW, Disneyworld, Disneyland, etc. are way overrated as vacation destinations for parents of children. Key essentials for good family vacations for the next 10 years: beach house or suite at hotel with pool (don't get into vacations where you can't have sex, trust me on this one). Lot's of places have apt. style hotels with kitchenettes and everything so you can still do museums, etc. (or barhopping, or whatever), but the pool and the separate room for the parents to sleep are essential. You didn't ask, and worth what you paid for it, but hey. Other key feature: visiting friends or relatives who like to babysit, so parents can do some real romancing.
 

Foilwoman-Thanks for the advise. We are already hip to it. We are going to be in Phily next month visiting a friend. We are taking a babysitter with us. In September, we are going to be in Orlando at a timeshare (my sister-in-law's timeshare... the one from DC), so we have babysitting included. (Did you hear that, Hof? I'll be stomping around in your neck of the woods!) We also plan to go skiing again this winter (taking babysitter with us again). If I don't/haven't already knocked up the old lady. :-)

Hof-Thanks! I like her too (most of the time anyway... when she isn't being... you know... a woman [just kidding honey]). She was 2 months pregnant in that picture. I think she looks even better now!
